Protect What Matters was inspired by Jäger, a real Laeknir K9 dog whose family was looking for something very specific: a trusted companion and guardian for the home while the father of the family is deployed overseas.

Jäger became exactly that. Steady, watchful, gentle with the people he loves, and always there when it matters.

His story is what inspired this design. The American flag isn’t there simply for decoration. It represents the family behind the dog, the sacrifices that sometimes take someone far from home, and the four-legged guardian who remains behind.
